Thomaston, Ga. native Dr. Eugene P. Walker, Inducted into the Clark Atlanta University Hall of Fame in 1995 for Basketball and Coaching; state champion high school basketball and football coach during segregation. Walker became a state senator, headed the Ga. parole board, held leadership roles in education and civic endeavors.

Before Americus, Ga. native Ron Bivins became a real estate magnate, operating diversified businesses including Ours Studios LLC, he was known as #10, the 1966 - 1970 quarterback for A.S. Staley HS. We have him to thank for bringing the As If We Were Ghosts documentary to life.
